About the Ultrasonic Mixer Project
This project began as my Master’s thesis, where I explored how ultrasonic technology could be adapted into an egg beater for kitchen use. What started as a design for everyday cooking evolved into something much larger — an industrial ultrasonic mixer for ceramic factories.
To bring this vision to life, I managed a multidisciplinary team of engineers with diverse skills for over a year and a half. Together, we designed, prototyped, and built the machine. It was an amazing experience — not only to create a new product but also to learn what it means to lead, collaborate, and communicate across disciplines.
During this journey, I discovered how important it is to balance the needs of both engineers and investors. Acting as the bridge between these two worlds was sometimes challenging, but ultimately rewarding. It taught me patience, problem-solving, and the ability to translate between technical precision and business goals.
The Ultrasonic Mixer project reflects my philosophy as a designer: using innovation and teamwork to create solutions that span from the kitchen to the factory floor, while building meaningful connections between people and ideas.
From Kitchen to Factory — Ultrasonic Innovation
Introduction
The Ultrasonic Mixer (SonoMix) is a next-generation mixing device that brings advanced ultrasound technology into both everyday kitchens and industrial applications. Unlike traditional mixers that rely only on mechanical blades, this design uses high-frequency sound waves to create rapid vibrations, improving mixing efficiency, texture, and energy use.
How It Works

Ultrasonic Cavitation: High-frequency vibrations (above 20 kHz) create microscopic bubbles in liquids. When these bubbles collapse, they generate intense mixing forces.
